Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 26, 2026
1. Introduction
Taixt ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our macOS application and web services.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. We use a one-time password (OTP) system sent to your email for secure sign-in.
2.2 Text Processing Data
When you use Taixt to process text, your selected text is transmitted to our servers and forwarded to third-party AI service providers for processing. We do not store your processed text on our servers. The text is used solely for the purpose of generating the AI response and is not retained after processing is complete.
2.3 Local Processing History
The macOS application stores a history of your text processing operations locally on your device (up to 50 entries). This data never leaves your computer and is stored only in the application's local storage. You can disable history storage or clear it at any time in the application settings.
2.4 Subscription and Payment Data
We store information about your subscription status and billing history. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers. We do not store your complete credit card information on our servers.
2.5 Support Requests
When you contact support, we may collect technical information about your device (application version, macOS version, language settings) to help diagnose issues. This information is provided with your consent when submitting a support request.
2.6 Crash Reports
To improve app stability and fix bugs, our macOS application automatically collects crash reports when the app unexpectedly terminates. These reports include technical information such as stack traces, device type, operating system version, and app version. We do not collect your IP address or any personally identifiable information in crash reports. Crash data is processed by Sentry, a third-party error tracking service, and is used solely for debugging and improving app quality.

- Process your text through AI services
- Manage your subscription and process payments
